Transfer your domain to Name.com
As Hocoos is closing, all domains purchased through our platform must be transferred to accounts owned and managed directly by their domain owners.
To keep your domain active and under your control, please transfer it to your own Name.com account as soon as possible.
Before you start
- You will need to create a Name.com account (if you don’t already have one)
- You’ll receive an Account Code from Name.com — this is required for the transfer
- Our team will handle the transfer for you once you send us the details
Step 1: Create a Name.com account
If you don’t already have an account, create one here:
https://www.name.com/account/create
Once your account is created, proceed to the next step.
Step 2: Complete your account profile
To make sure your account is ready to receive the domain:
- Log in to your Name.com account
- Hover over your profile picture (top-right corner)
- Open the Profile section

Inside your profile:
- Locate your Account Code and save it — you’ll need it for the transfer

- Fill in your basic contact information
- Click “Save Contact”

Step 3: Send your details to Hocoos
Once your account is ready, contact our support team:
Please include:
- Your Name.com Account Code
- The domain name(s) you want to transfer
Our team will use this information to move your domain to your Name.com account.
What Happens Next
After the transfer is completed:
- Your domain will appear in your Name.com account
- You’ll have full control over it
- You can manage DNS settings, renewals, and ownership directly in Name.com
Transfers are usually completed shortly after we receive your request.
Important notes
- Please complete the transfer before the Hocoos shutdown date to avoid any disruption
- After the shutdown, we won’t be able to manage or assist with domains
ICANN policy reminder:
Domains can only be transferred after 60 days from the date of registration.
